Shahzad Ali Malik, the chairman of the Pakistan Hitech Hybrid Seed Association (PHHSA), has asked the government to give contemporary agriculture technology integration a high priority in order to boost agricultural productivity and satisfy the needs of a population that is constantly expanding.

According to a news release, he told a delegation of progressive farmers led by Momin Ali that incorporating sophisticated biotechnology techniques can result in the creation of crop types that are more resilient to pests, diseases, and unfavorable climatic circumstances.

According to him, doing so not only secures food security but also boosts farmer incomes and lessens reliance on imports.

He said that contemporary technologies like biotechnology, remote sensing, data analytics, and precision agriculture have a great deal of promise to boost output, optimize resource use, and reduce environmental effect.

Utilizing contemporary technology is essential for the agricultural industry's sustainable growth and development. He also noted that agriculture is important to the economy since it helps to provide food security, provides raw materials, creates jobs, and supports rural communities.
