LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered the administration to declare a citywide emergency on Wednesday, blaming the current government for the smog-related conditions in Lahore.
In order to tell students about the ruling regarding factories that create black smoke, it also instructed the commissioner and other officers to visit schools and institutions.
The provincial city has become a "poisonous gas chamber" due to smog, according to a report that was published in The News today. Residents are experiencing severe health issues as a result, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 255.
