According to Welivego News, the President PMDC Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj held a post-examination analysis meeting for the MDCAT 2023, which was taken by almost 187,000 students, in order to review the examination process, evaluate the difficulty level of the question paper, address any potential issues that may have arisen during the MDCAT exam, and guarantee the fairness and integrity of the examination.

Obstacles that arose during the results compilation were discussed, along with the difficulty index, with the aim of evaluating how well the examination procedure was conducted.

Vice Chancellors from all provincially accredited conducting universities, including the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Khyber Medical University (KMU), Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), and Balochistan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS), as well as the PMDC's examination division, attended the meeting.

The discussion began with a review of the performance of each exam question, its difficulty rating, and any ambiguous or perplexing questions.

Feedback and concerns from the applicants were also taken into account throughout the meeting. During the conference, it was discovered that only a small number of province-specific questions on the MDCAT Exam were off-syllabus. President PMDC noticed the same thing.

Vice Chancellors of all public universities were instructed by President PMDC to review their question papers and assess any discrepancies that may need to be resolved as soon as possible.

He further stated that conducting universities must act seriously and undertake thorough investigations of anyone found to have participated in the use of unfair test practices. He emphasized the need for transparency and the urgency of resolving all exam-related difficulties right away.

The meeting is vital for determining the success of the exam and making adjustments, according to PMDC's president.

When the topic of the MDCAT paper and its authenticity came up during the meeting, President PMDC expressed his worries and made inquiries.

According to the vice chancellor of Khyber Medical University, 45,640 of the nearly 46,439 students who enrolled for the exam actually showed up. The exam had 799 absentee candidates.

He informed the audience that 219 students had been found using unfair techniques during the exam, and he said that the appropriate legal action had been taken against all the applicants concerned.

He revealed that the spy agencies had already told them about the cheating gadget.

As a result, all candidates were thoroughly examined in each center using body searches and four layers of security checks. KMU explicitly stated that there aren't many films older than 4 to 5 years on social media because no KMU test was given elsewhere.

In the conference, the vice chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University reported that a total of 40,528 candidates from the province of Sindh had registered, and that 98% of those candidates had shown up for the exam in four cities.

TCS was hired to relocate the private examination materials at the locations in order to maintain confidentiality. He informed them that three instances of impersonation were discovered, and FIRs have been filed against them.

After four hours of publishing the key, he reported receiving images and concerns about paper leaks.

He disclosed that a five-person inquiry team made up of senior authorities, including representatives from the FIA and Cyber Crime, had been formed to look into the accusations. The group's report and findings will be submitted in 48 hours. He also said that the announcement of the results will be postponed until the investigation's conclusion.
